FACTORYMORE · UPDATED 26 SEPTEMBER 2026
Terms of Use
The FactoryMore service
These Terms of Use apply to visitors and registered members of FactoryMore.com. The service is an industrial business discovery and communication platform. Its tools include company profiles, product listings, RFQs, distributor opportunities, conversations and editorial information. These terms operate alongside the applicable Free or paid Membership Agreement and Privacy Policy. A separate purchase of goods from a listed business is governed by the agreement with that business. The platform does not automatically become the manufacturer, seller, importer, insurer or payment guarantor for that purchase.
Eligibility and representation
You must be legally capable of entering an agreement and authorised to act for the business you represent. Register with accurate contact information and select the account role that reflects your activity. Do not impersonate another person, use another company’s identity without permission, or create misleading duplicate accounts. Where the authority to represent a company is disputed, access may be restricted while the circumstances are reviewed. The platform is intended for professional business use and is not designed for children or private consumer shopping.
Registration and onboarding
The initial form collects a name, email, password, account role and recorded acceptance of these documents. A subsequent questionnaire requests the relevant company and professional details. Certain information is needed to operate the selected role, route inquiries and present the business accurately. Security checks may include Cloudflare Turnstile and, when the verification services are enabled, separate email and phone verification. Passing a security or contact check establishes neither the quality of a product nor the reliability of a trading partner.
Account security
Keep your password confidential and use a password not shared with unrelated services. You are responsible for actions you authorise through the account and for notifying FactoryMore through Help Center when you reasonably suspect misuse. Do not disclose verification codes, private keys or payment credentials in public profiles or messages. FactoryMore may invalidate sessions, restrict suspicious activity or ask for proportionate verification to protect access. These measures do not replace your own internal controls or independent checks of payment instructions.
Country-based publication eligibility
Manufacturers and distributors whose declared business or account country is China must hold an active Verified, Verified Pro or Enterprise membership before publishing company profiles and products. Registration or saving a draft does not itself satisfy this rule. A payment preference, pending upgrade request or uploaded payment screenshot is not an activated plan. A member must not misrepresent location to evade publication requirements. The current dashboard explains the restriction and available upgrade options before the restricted action.
Company information and product listings
Publish only information you are entitled to share. Product names, technical specifications, images, certifications and business descriptions must accurately represent the goods and company concerned. Do not claim a certification, territorial right, manufacturing capability or distribution appointment that you cannot substantiate. Avoid personal or commercially confidential information in publicly visible fields. Technical upload requirements, publication review and reasonable abuse controls still apply to unlimited product listings; unlimited does not mean unrestricted storage or permission to publish prohibited content.
Member communications
Use product inquiries, RFQs, messaging and partnership applications for relevant business discussions. The information-sharing prompt determines which optional professional details accompany a conversation; recipients may still learn information you deliberately include in a message or attachment. A partnership application does not appoint a distributor or establish an exclusive commercial relationship. The advertiser decides whether to accept it, and chat access follows the application rules. Do not use these features for harassment, bulk unsolicited promotion, credential collection or attempts to bypass another member’s privacy choices.
Independent transactions and due diligence
Members negotiate product purchases, supply terms, delivery, inspection, insurance, customs, tax treatment and payment with the actual counterparty. Confirm identity, specifications, certification, bank details and contractual authority independently. Platform listings, rankings, advertisements and membership labels are information signals, not a promise that another member will perform. FactoryMore membership does not create escrow, trade insurance, a refund guarantee or a contract for the listed goods. Do not infer services that have not been expressly offered in your transaction.
Content ownership and platform permission
You retain rights you hold in your submitted content. You give FactoryMore the permission reasonably needed to host, display, format, transmit and, where enabled, translate that content to operate the features you request. This permission does not transfer ownership of your trademarks or confidential information. You must have permission for images, descriptions, documents and other material you upload. When you remove a listing, limited copies may remain in backups, audit records or legally required records according to the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.
Acceptable use and prohibited activity
Do not offer unlawful goods, infringe intellectual property, distribute malicious files, interfere with the service, evade access restrictions or obtain data through unauthorised automated collection. Do not manipulate reviews, misrepresent affiliation, publish another person’s private information without a proper basis or send fraudulent payment demands. Attempts to use multiple accounts or false profile details to defeat rate limits, publication review or plan restrictions may lead to proportionate enforcement. Report suspicious listings or messages through Help Center.
Advertising and search presentation
Organic search and directory presentation are distinct from paid promotional placement. An eligible company may submit advertisements or sponsored products under its plan; approval and placement rules apply. Paid priority is labelled Sponsored where displayed. A Free membership carries no assurance of a particular rank, number of impressions, lead volume or commercial outcome. Product recommendations and translated descriptions can be imperfect; assess the original specifications and supplier statements before relying on them.
Privacy and optional communications
The Privacy Policy explains the data used to provide accounts, public listings, communications, security and support. Acceptance of this agreement is recorded separately from optional marketing permission. You may create an account without agreeing to promotional email, SMS or other electronic messages. Withdrawing optional permission does not prevent necessary security, service or contractual notices where an appropriate basis exists. Vonage is used for requested phone-verification codes, not as a marketing or notification service.
Availability and changes
Features may be maintained, corrected or temporarily unavailable. A Free membership is not a guarantee of continuous availability, response times or preservation of every presentation detail. Material changes to these terms should be made clear through an updated version and, where appropriate, notice or renewed acceptance. Changes do not retrospectively rewrite a separate agreement already accepted for a paid term. Keep copies of business correspondence and specifications that are important to your own commercial records.
Restrictions, suspension and review
Content or access may be limited to address security incidents, unlawful material, inaccurate representation or serious violations of the platform rules. Where practicable, FactoryMore will provide a reason and a way to request review or correct an issue. Urgent action may be needed before notice where necessary to protect users or evidence. Contact Help Center with the affected account or listing and relevant facts; do not send passwords. Removal of a listing does not decide a separate commercial dispute between members.
Responsibility and mandatory protections
Each member is responsible for its own content, authorised activity and commercial commitments. Nothing here excludes responsibilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, guarantees another member’s performance or invents a fixed liability cap for every jurisdiction. Applicable rights depend on the service and circumstances. Before relying on these terms for a live business, the platform’s operator must complete the appropriate legal review and mandatory disclosures.
Reviews and business reputation
Reviews should reflect an honest, relevant experience and must not contain fabricated claims, personal attacks, confidential records or unlawful material. Do not buy reviews, submit reviews under a false identity or pressure another member to exchange a favourable rating for an unrelated benefit. A company without reviews is not assigned an invented rating. Reviews are statements by their authors, not verified assurances by FactoryMore. Suspected abuse can be reported through Help Center and may be reviewed or removed under the moderation rules.
Editorial content and translations
Knowledge Center articles and Industry News are general informational resources. They do not replace engineering assessment, legal advice, inspection, certification or a signed commercial specification. Automated translations and summaries may contain inaccuracies. Confirm the original content and clarify technical or contractual details directly with the source before making a consequential decision. Links to third-party websites do not give FactoryMore control over their availability, terms or information handling.
Applicable protections and disputes
Contact Help Center first with the relevant account, listing or order and a clear description of the issue. Preserve the relevant correspondence and avoid posting another person’s private information publicly. These terms do not create compulsory arbitration, a foreign court requirement or a waiver of mandatory legal remedies where none has been properly established. The applicable operator disclosures, jurisdiction and dispute requirements must be reviewed before public commercial launch.
Authority to act for a business
When acting for a manufacturer, distributor or other organisation, you must have authority to create its profile, publish its material and communicate on its behalf. Use an accurate business identity and keep your role current. You must not claim to own another business’s trademarks, impersonate its employees or present an unauthorised distributorship as an established relationship. If authority is disputed, access or publication may be restricted while appropriate evidence is reviewed. An account label does not confer legal authority to bind the organisation in a purchase or distribution agreement.
Product information and technical suitability
Product listings should clearly distinguish specifications, available variants, optional accessories and illustrative photographs. Do not publish a performance claim, certification, origin statement or compatibility assurance that you cannot support. Buyers remain responsible for checking suitability for their intended application, operating conditions and regulatory obligations. Confirm technical drawings, tolerances, installation requirements and safety instructions directly with the supplier. A search result or recommended product is a discovery aid; it is not engineering approval or confirmation that the item satisfies a particular industrial standard.
RFQs, quotations and commercial negotiations
An RFQ communicates a purchasing requirement and invites responses. Unless the parties expressly agree otherwise, submitting an RFQ or a platform inquiry is not a purchase order, acceptance of a quotation or binding supply contract. The parties should separately document quantity, specification, price, currency, taxes, delivery, inspection, warranties and dispute arrangements. A quotation attachment may contain time limits and conditions that require review. FactoryMore does not decide whether an exchange creates a binding contract between members and does not automatically guarantee either party’s performance.
Distributor opportunities and appointments
A partnership listing expresses interest in a commercial relationship. Sending or accepting an application enables the relevant platform workflow; it does not automatically appoint an exclusive distributor, grant territory rights or license intellectual property. Discuss territory, competing brands, minimum performance, marketing responsibilities, after-sales support and termination directly with the other business. Claims concerning an existing representation should be accurate and authorised. A suggested meeting time or generated invitation is a convenience and does not replace agreement on the commercial terms of the proposed partnership.
Payment safety and off-platform arrangements
Use independent checks before paying an unfamiliar supplier or acting on a request to change bank details. Verify material changes through a reliable channel you already know. Do not disclose banking passwords, card security codes or wallet recovery phrases in platform messages. FactoryMore membership payments and a supplier’s product invoice are separate transactions. A saved payment-method preference is not a payment receipt, and an inquiry response is not proof of payment. Where a payment provider is unavailable, the platform must not represent an unprocessed payment as a completed charge.
Advertising approvals and creative responsibility
Advertisers must hold the necessary rights to the images, logos and statements in their submissions. Creative material must match the business and the advertised destination and must not conceal misleading claims in an image. Submitted placements require administrator approval before display. Placement allowances refer to the selected plan and stated term; unused inventory is not a promise of exclusive display. FactoryMore may request corrections or reject unsuitable material. Sponsored labels must remain visible, and advertisers must not disguise paid visibility as an independent editorial recommendation.
Prohibited automation and interference
Do not attempt to bypass account limits, access another user’s private records, overwhelm the service, distribute malicious files or defeat verification and anti-abuse controls. Automated access must respect any permission, rate limit and technical restriction applicable to the feature. Public availability of a listing does not authorise bulk extraction of private contact information or misuse of another party’s intellectual property. Testing security weaknesses without permission must not expose data or disrupt users. Report a suspected vulnerability privately through Help Center rather than publishing exploit instructions with identifiable user records.
Moderation, corrections and account restrictions
Content or access may be restricted where it violates platform rules, presents a credible security risk or requires investigation of ownership or accuracy. A restriction can affect an individual listing without closing the whole account. Where appropriate, the member should receive enough information to understand the issue and request review, while confidential security or third-party information may be withheld. Correcting a rejected submission does not guarantee approval. Use Help Center to explain an apparent error and provide relevant evidence rather than creating duplicate accounts to avoid an existing restriction.
Availability, backups and service changes
The platform can be unavailable during maintenance, infrastructure failures or incidents beyond reasonable control. Keep independent copies of important quotations, specifications and commercial agreements instead of relying on a message history as your only archive. Features connected to external services depend on those services being available and properly configured. FactoryMore may improve or replace tools, subject to applicable contractual and mandatory protections. A development preview is not a commitment that every displayed integration is operational. Published membership terms and the confirmed order determine the commercial features purchased.
Complaints, evidence and mandatory protections
When raising a dispute, identify the relevant record and explain the outcome requested. Supply accurate, proportionate evidence and redact unrelated personal or confidential information. Do not alter records to misrepresent an exchange or use public reviews to demand unrelated benefits. Platform assistance does not replace independent advice or legal remedies. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability, statutory protection or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation, refund rule or jurisdiction clause must be assessed under the law applicable to the actual transaction rather than inferred from another platform’s conditions.
