What every product listing needs
These guidelines apply to manually submitted products as well as imported listings and catalog integrations.
Accurate product information
Make it easy for an industrial buyer to understand exactly what is being offered.
- Describe genuine industrial products with accurate specifications, applications, brand and model where relevant.
- Only state performance figures, certifications and product availability you can substantiate.
- Do not add misleading comparisons, unrelated keywords or fabricated claims.
Authorization & compliance
You must have the right to offer the product and publish its information.
- List products you manufacture or are authorized to distribute or represent.
- Use only product photography, technical documents, logos and trademarks you have permission to publish.
- Follow applicable product safety, advertising, intellectual-property and export laws. An admin review is not product certification.
Product images
Clear, authentic product photography helps buyers evaluate equipment.
- Manual product listings require at least one relevant image of the actual product.
- New uploaded images must show the product on a transparent background with suitable margins.
- Avoid watermarks, promotional stickers, contact details, misleading badges, unrelated photographs and opaque backgrounds.
- Upload PNG, JPEG or WebP files. The limit is 2 MB per image, with up to 12 images per listing. Uploaded file contents are checked.
Categories & duplicate listings
Place each product where buyers are most likely to find it.
- Select exactly one existing category that accurately describes the product.
- Do not create repeated, intentionally misleading or keyword-stuffed listings.
- Product imports and integration updates must follow these same content standards.
Optional prices
A listed price is helpful but never mandatory.
- Provide a genuine indicative price and currency, or leave the price blank when buyers should request a quotation.
- Explain relevant conditions such as minimum order quantity, shipping, applicable taxes and what is included in the description.
- Displaying a price is not an accepted order or payment through FactoryMore.
Prohibited content
Protect buyers, suppliers and the integrity of the marketplace.
- No illegal, counterfeit or stolen goods, fraudulent claims, impersonation, phishing or malware.
- Do not publish unauthorized personal information or content intended to bypass FactoryMore restrictions.
- Regulated products may require additional lawful authorization.
After publication
Your responsibilities continue after a listing is approved.
- Keep information, availability and technical specifications up to date.
- Remove outdated or unauthorized content promptly.
- Report suspicious listings through FactoryMore support. These standards supplement the Terms and Conditions and do not replace applicable laws.

Your listing enters the FactoryMore review queue.
Quality check
We may approve, decline or request corrections if the content does not meet these standards.
Publish or revise
Approved listings become public. A correction request returns the listing to draft so you can edit and resubmit.
Status emails depend on the configured email provider; delivery to an inbox cannot be guaranteed.
